The Indoor Radio Fence is for any pet over 8 pounds and over. If you already have a PetSafe In-Ground Fence system, you can use the same collar that keeps your pet in the yard to keep your pet out of certain areas you want to protect in your home. Keep your pet out of the kitchen, the baby s nursery, your home office, or off the new sofa. Just place the transmitter on the floor, hang on a wall, or anywhere you can plug it in. Place the collar on your pet and watch as your pet stays away from the protected area. The transmitter emits a signal in a circular fashion that you can adjust from 2 to 10 feet in diameter. Once your pet approaches the signal a warning beep sounds on the collar, if your pet continues to approach the area a mild static correction is given. The PetSafe Indoor Radio Fence can be used with multiple pets; all you need is more receiver collars. You can also use as many transmitters and receiver collars as you need.If you don t have an existing PetSafe In-Ground Fence system, you ll need to purchase a PetSafe receiver collar. Receiver collars such as the UltraLight Receiver, UL-250-11 or the Super Receiver, RF-275-11. The In-Door Radio Fence will operate with any PetSafe In-Ground Fence Receiver Collar. Please note the Pet Safe Wireless Fence Receiver Collar will not work with this system.
